Skipper Simon Hamer drew on his own experience cruising New Zealand and the South Pacific when he built Vagabond to be the ultimate charter vessel. By taking advantage of modern lightweight materials, this massive multihull provides vast living space, incomparable seakindlinesss and an exhilarating speed to extend her cruising grounds.
Retractable propellors, rudders and centreboards mean she can explore shallow waters and anchor close in shore for the best shelter or easy beach access. Two sets of transom steps provide easy water access for diving and all water sports while the foredeck trampolines make a great place for playing, relaxing or dolphin watching. As we went to press, Vagabond was not rigged for sailing, operating as a roomy and comfortable powerboat.
