This 53 foot trimaran provides some of the most exciting sailing on the Hauraki Gulf. A Dick Newick design, she was built by owner Tom Robben and launched in 1994. Effortlessly averaging speeds of 10 to 15 knots, a day sail out of Coromandel can comprise an exhilarating tour of the western side of the Peninsula and a swoop across to Waiheke - or a quiet mooch around the islands with a picnic lunch, a swim, and a little fishing.
Designed primarily for speed and easy handling, Te Kaihau is functional yet comfortable, and with Great Barrier just 33 miles from her Coromandel base, she offers wonderfully affordable liveaboard opportunities.
Make up a party or join a scheduled cruise - Tom and Marie are relaxed and friendly hosts and look forward to giving you a truly memorable time on the water.
