"Snow Cloud" is a strong wooden Cutter, is based at the magnificent Whangaroa Harbour, North of the Bay of Islands. Chris Sale Owner/Skipper and builder of Snow Cloud, and has spent many months sailing the Southern Ocean as crew on the Totorore expedition researching birds and other wildlife in that region.
Chris enjoys sharing the experiences of sailing this dramatic coastline, which abounds with beautiful islands like the Cavalli Is, which are often visited on day trips, the coastline has many extraordinarily beautiful places to visit and interesting wildlife. Live aboard cruises can enjoy affordable, relaxed voyaging or hands-on sailing anywhere in the region, from North Cape to Great Barrier Island.
