To step aboard Ethel is to step back in time. Launched in 1896, Ethel is one of the earliest of the Logan brothers' heritage of top performing wooden yachts. Owner/skipper Tom Leary has just completed a total refit, and equipped her with a set of beautifully cut sails that see her outperforming much newer vessels. Down below, refrigeration and discrete electronics provide her guests with the fresh food, cold drinks and home comforts Ethel's early crews could only have dreamed about.
Available for refreshing harbour cruises or relaxed, romantic overnighters, Ethel is a proud part of Auckland's heritage, and offers a unique experience of yachting in the days
